Nowadays it's difficult to choose a smartphone because of the wide variety of options. Reading the reviews of the mobiles around the internet,and upcoming mobile phone specifications made me think about a phone like a million times.
My choice of preferences to have in a mobile are performance,camera,battery then apps. My options of OS are Android,iOS,WindowsPhone and Blackberry.Because Blackberry10 having only one device in the market (and the cost of the device ) i had to rule it out.iOS being costlier made me choose in two options. If i had to go for a phone of worth 20k INR. The possible specs for the price point are
1Ghz dual core processor
512Mb RAM.
5Mp camera
Secondary camera support.
I have to rule out android because 1Ghz dual core processor with 512Mb ram won't be that impressive if the OS is android. So finally the OS i have to go for is WindowsPhone. WindowsPhone being a growing OS seems like not a bad option to me because it has all the essential apps.
Considerable phones in the pricepoint having WindowsPhone are lumia 620,lumia 720 and htc 8x.
Though the design is good, 8x doesn't support video calling and the nokia applications for lumia devices leaves me two phones.
Lumia 720 having 6.7Mp rear camera comparing to 5Mp camera in Lumia 620 gives better camera experience and good low light photos because of the f/1.9 apperture.
The wide angle front camera is a option that can be considerable.
And the bigger 2000mAh battery Gives me one option in my hand that is Lumia 720.
